What's NEXT?

Who We Are

Life is filled with examples of those who contribute versus those who only consume; those who do and those who watch. Whether it is in sports, musical performance, family or (fill in the blank with your passion), we feel a disconnect when we only observe. So when we read the Bible, we can feel just that way.

Scripture is filled with accounts of men and women who have been contributors in God's story. And like them, we have a God-given desire to live in the story.

At NEXT, our focus is not just to do mission trips, but to introduce students to a missional God who is jealous to make His name known...to shine the light of his kingdom in the darkest places on earth.

Through church-planting missions and leadership development, we provide the students with a catalytic experience that will propel them to a lifetime of kingdom service both in the United States, as well as around the world. They learn that instead of a biblical basis for missions, there is a missional basis for the Bible.

We enable students to plant fruit that doesn't just last a week, but remains long after the experience is over...both in them, and on the mission field.

What We Do

Church Planting

Jesus' mandate to make disciples of all nations is most effectively carried out through the context of the local church. NEXT is committed to serving pastors and churches worldwide to help them realize their vision of reaching their communities and countries by planting new churches where a witness for Christ formerly did not exist; churches that are committed to being church-planting churches that plant church-planting churches. Students will be trained in evangelism and discipleship in order to help launch new churches on a Church Planting Campaign (Mission Trip). By the time the students go home they will have contributed to the establishment of a new church.

Leadership Development

NEXT Worldwide is committed to providing more than a trip, but an experience that will transform and shape a student's worldview for life. Through the hands-on church planting campaign and daily interactive leadership skills training, students will be challenged to see the world and their purpose in it from God's perspective. Our goal is to see the entire experience for students translate into a lifelong commitment to contributing to God's global purposes, as well as a written plan of action to be an effective leader in their circles of influence the day they get home.
