Dear [Supporter Name],

     I hope this letter finds you enjoying God’s blessing as you go into the New Year!  I’m having a wonderful junior year at Grace Prep and entering track season.

     I’m writing to let you know that God has opened the door for me to go on a mission trip with NEXT Worldwide from [date] to [date] of [year]!

     I’ll be going with a group of students from [church name], and we’ll be networking with existing churches in [trip city, country] that are starting new churches there. I’ll be teamed up with other Christians as we share Jesus Christ in this community!

     But I need your help! I’m already a part of a large team in this endeavor: national Christians, translators, our U.S. team and church-planters.

     I need you to be a part of my trip as well! How can you help? Well first, I need you prayers for the spiritual battles ahead.

     And second, I need friends like you to help cover [cost] in transportation, lodging and other important costs to help impact lives in [country] through me!

     You can mail a check to me in the enclosed envelope. You’ll receive a tax deduction for your investment. And if for any reason I’m unable to participate in the trip, your gift will be used to support the short-term mission program of NEXT Worldwide.
