Transform their world perspective:

NEXT Worldwide is intentional when it comes to giving students a ‘mission’ experience that will introduce them to God’s passion for His own glory, and his mission to call worshipers from every nation.
NEXT is careful to not manipulate an emotional experience, but to introduce students to the ‘God of mission’ and let Him work in their lives.

Train them to be skilled, missional leaders:

Vast amounts of literature on leadership confirm that leadership can be learned. NEXT has tailored a proven leadership curriculum from Leaders Summit to give students practical tools that can be used immediately, as well as and developed over a lifetime to be a great leader in any arena of life.
We are committed to taking ‘missional living’ off of the bumper sticker and into action by giving students a transforming experience of hands-on ministry, proven, effective leadership training and tracks to run on when they get home.

Contribute to establishing a new church:

Students will know exactly what their mission is as they go into the ‘mission trip.’ We are in the community to help start or strengthen a church that is in the church planting process. We are serving this pastor and people to help establish a healthy, reproducing church.
When the students go home, they will know that they have contributed to establishing a new church that is committed to making disciples and being a transforming agent of the gospel in their community.

Share the gospel on the trip and beyond:

God has clearly lined out our mission in 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 – "All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God."
We get to join God. He has entrusted us with the message of reconciliation. He is making His appeal through us!
Students will learn to use a simple gospel-communication tool, using their Bible and Keys to the Kingdom. We will walk through the community where we are helping plant a church, get to know people and engage them with the gospel… "God making His appeal through us"!
The goal from there is to see both the students and people at the mission point continue the mission, confident and equipped to Live the Mission at home!
