Mission: What has NEXT been established to accomplish?
With a view to reaching the last people group on earth(1): we exist to make and multiply disciples(2) of the next generation(3) via the vehicles of church planting missions and missional leadership training.(4)
(1) Matthew 24:14 – “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
(2) Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
(3) Psalm 71:18 – “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O Lord, till I declare your power to the next generation; your might to all who are to come.”
(4) II Timothy 2:2 – “and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
